Registered Homeschooling K-12 @ West Coast
As a traditional homeschooler, the Registered option offers an alternative approach to home learning. With this option, you have the flexibility to educate your child outside of the BC educational system, providing you with complete autonomy over your child’s education.
Here’s why the registered homeschool option is worth considering:
Independence: You prefer to direct your home education program without the active support of a teacher, valuing the autonomy to design the curriculum yourself.
No Reporting: You want to avoid the reporting requirements typically associated with educational programs, allowing for a more flexible and self-directed approach.
No Resource Funding: You do not require or wish to access resource funding for curriculum materials, lessons, or other educational resources.

To complete the homeschooled application form, you will need scans of the following:

Cross Enrollment Grades 8-12 @ West Coast
Cross Enrollment allows Grades 8-12 students in BC to be enrolled in Grades 8-12 courses at more than one school at the same time. West Coast also offers cross-enrollment to out-of-province and international students.
